Throughout her career, she was a strategic partner to global brands like Hewlett Packard, Mercedes-Benz, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, Telecom Italia Mobile, and Visa. She has a strong track record in building strategic vision, team performance, and management agility.
Sule’s career path has been interestingly diverse and colourful. She started in journalism as a news reporter and producer in New York and Istanbul. She then turned to advertising where she found her real passion for creativity and leadership. During her ten years at Saatchi & Saatchi Istanbul, she had the opportunity to work with leading brands such as Alfa Romeo, Eti, Hewlett Packard, Procter & Gamble, Telecom Italia Mobile, Sütaş, and Visa. She was the managing director of the agency for three years, before she launched her boutique consultancy business.
At Kutlay Consultancy, she served as the lead consultant for the market launch and local partnerships of The Body Shop, Le Pain Quotidien, Starbucks, and Top Shop. She worked on the transformation of Turkcell call center into a 500 people customer service operation. She trained the nationwide sales force of Mercedes-Benz to become brand ambassadors. Sule introduced first to market digital products, through joint ventures with Ignition One and Tapcrowd.
After years of leading companies into market leadership and teams into top performance, she complemented her know-how with a coaching degree from Columbia University. Her graduating thesis was on personal and professional resilience. She has a TED talk on resilience and led countless global workshops on resilience and neuro-creativity. Her audience is international in scope and demanding in attitude. Among her latest client portfolio are Abbvie, GFK, Perichem, Twentify, Women in Football, and Young Presidents Organization.
